The fruit and vegetables are delivered fresh from the land to the factory in Waalwijk. Ready to be cleaned, sorted, packed, frozen and stored. 

In the role of team leader, you manage 3 to 5 team members. During the high season, the team is larger due to the use of flexible workers. You are responsible for managing and coordinating the production processes.

You will be working on:

• Coordinating the work on the line. You instruct the team members in carrying out the planned work;
• You guide new colleagues on the work floor so that they can make a smooth start;
• Identifying and tackling bottlenecks in the process. You are the first point of contact for disruptions/deviations. In the event of technical deviations, you consult with colleagues from the Technical Service;
• You give instructions to the team members and monitor compliance with the company, safety and hygiene regulations;
• You make suggestions for improvements with regard to safety, productivity and quality and report to the production manager.
• As an essential link in the production process, you ensure that everything runs smoothly.

You work on the basis of 3 shifts. During the schedule you rotate morning (06:00-14:00), afternoon (14:00-22:00) and night shifts (22:00-06:00). For this you receive a good shift allowance!

We are looking for an operator who:

• Have expierence in a managing role;
• Have talent for team leadership. You know how to stimulate your colleagues on the line;
• Have a positive attitude
• Have a sense of responsibility; you tackle things and think along;
• Have technical insight and is eager to learn;
• Feels at home in a production environment;
• Have affinity with working in the food industry/Fruit and Vegetables/Food;
• Is willing to work in 3 shifts;
• Is willing to learn something new and who are open to devolop theirselves.

This vacancy is on a temporary basis, and if you have successfully completed the 6 to 12 months temporary employment period, you have a chance to get a contract with our client. They are growing at a fast rate and therefore want to connect with proper employees and offer them a contract!
