As a cook on the island of Texel in the Netherlands, you will have a dynamic function. As an independent woking cook, you are busy preparing the most amazing dishes for the food & beverage outlets. From salads to lobster, here you will make many amazing dishes.

• Leading and developing the kitchen team;
• Monitoring the progress and quality of work;
• Purchasing food and maintaining contact with suppliers;
• Conceiving, composing, developing and tasting new dishes for the menu;
• Participate in events, fairs and markets on the park;
• Preparing buffets;
• Developing new recipes (if you are interested in this);
• Together with your colleagues, you ensure continuous improvement and guarantee of quality and service.

• You have knowledge of the English language in word and writing;
• You take initiative, are not afraid to roll up your sleeves;
• You are able to respond to ad hoc situations;
• You are able to work hygienic according to HACCP standards;
• You have an eye for detail.

• A gross salary between €15,- and €17,50 per hour depending on age and experience
• 8% holiday money;
• 25 free (payed) holidays a year (when you work fulltime);
• We provide you a house, shared with 3 other tenants. The housing is free of costs
• We will pick you up at the airport and bring you to your new house;
• We will fix your Dutch Health Care Insurance (€35,50 per week) and your taxes number.
